Godly Creation

The search to know the Absolute and its ways has given rise to a metaphysical ambiguity in which diverse theologies have created the multiplicity of gods that people worship. And with this has come misleading conclusions about the human race and its relationship with GodSpiritSource.

It is the Absolute formless and changeless that creates the constantly evolving beings and objects in this and other worlds. This is Source, the one true Godhead, the Mystery.

Though greater and more powerful than consensus reality, the Absolute, which has existed, exists, and will forever exist does not directly participate in worldly events.

It is the Absolute’s rules of a just existence that determine all creations, all causes and consequences in this world. Often mistakenly understood as divine intervention, it is actually the result of an infinitely long-standing rule of the Absolute taking effect.

This rule-determined divine manifestation is a function of the collaboration between beings and objects that have existed and presently exist, and the Absolute’s primary creation, Spirit.

Spirit is the force that ties everything together, remembers all that has occurred, and enforces the Absolute’s rules of existence. We are most familiar with Spirit through its display of the Mystery’s omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence. And also notably through karma or the law of consequences.

As humans we are most intimate with Spirit, sometimes from ignorance, sometimes from wisdom. But always within us as the human spirit or soul. And also in the world and universe around us, including the gods of the various traditions and their deity worlds.

All are co-creators with the Absolute. And we, like all other objects and beings have the power to create. The origin of the gods, as well as their life and immortality are shaped by the power of human imagination and recollection. In a manner that is best understood through the nondual paradoxical lens, we create them and they create us.

For all separate objects and individual beings created, one’s own power to create is a function of the degree of adherence to the Absolute’s rules, and the degree of superlative awareness with which one’s mind is imbued. One can easily see the relationship to the power of one’s faith in this arrangement.

And so, as it is for us, it is for the gods; everything in one’s life results from all the personal, worldly, and otherworldly events of existence. This multifaceted power of creation is executed and maintained through Spirit. While acting together, all these contributors may be considered the Living God, or Living Mystery creating a dynamic and evolving existence. For the mystic this is the only relationship truly worth having, the only being worth being.; personally knowing the Living Mystery.
